Review of Corsair 7000D PC Case

Generally, the casing does influence the PC performance as the cooling system is depending on it. moreover, before selecting a casing for your PC always analyze it on the basis of the following parameters:

Interior of the casing must have enough space to accommodate all the necessary components of the PC and they are arranged in such a way that there is no hindrance in the airflow for ventilation. So, when you open the glass side panel of the Corsair 7000D you will see the motherboard support at the front and at the bottom there is space for the power supply unit. Inside you will also see two pre-installed fans on the front which has a space for adding one more fan.

However, there are two other places where you can install three fans together, one at the top and the other at the other side panel vertically. When you remove the other side panel you will see a bracket installed on the left for the fans and a door on the right side which you can open to access the back of the motherboard bracket. At the bottom of the bracket, you can see the small brackets for your 2.5 inches SSDs.

For cable management there are straps provided at the back side of the motherboard panel to tie and route the cables. Moreover, there is a PWM fan hub which has 6 headers to control the fan speed of the PC. Similarly, there are 2 brackets having 3 slots each at the bottom of the right panel for your SSDs which seems to be more than enough, you can use them for some other purpose as well by removing them. At the bottom there is a filter provided for the power supply unit to keep it away from dust. Filter can be pulled out by pulling the tray below the PSU.

The outside of the Corsair 7000D is fascinating as one side is full tempered glass which can be opened just like a door. The front panel is fully perforated giving an optimal airflow for cooling the system, similarly the top panel is also fully perforated having a filter with it to keep the dust out.

The front panel has two 140 mm fans but if you want to add three fans then you have to use three 120 mm fans to fit them properly. All the panels are easily removable which make assembling of the PC finta easy, further, to keep Corsair 7000D high from the ground the case has four feet one at each side, this also provides help in lifting the case.

Final Thoughts on Corsair 7000D

To further summarize my review, I have mentioned some of the pros and cons of the Corsair 7000D:

  • Impressive design and build quality
  • Large number of I/O ports
  • Spacious
  • Good ventilation system
  • Full glass side panel

The Corsair 7000D is one of the best choices for building a high-end desktop PC as it can accommodate a water cooling system and full ATX motherboard. Similarly, there are a number of slots available for the SSDs which eliminates the shortage on the memory capacity, and last but not least there is enough opening for the ventilation of the system. So, if you are looking  to build a high-end desktop and can spend some extra bucks then the Corsair 7000D is the best for you.

The almohadilla model named Corsair HS60 was comfortable enough but with HS60 Pro, Corsair decided to take it to the next level by increasing the thickness of the padding of ear cups which increases the comfortability but it can also feel tight for some users.

It is a lightweight metal headset with well-padded cups and a good headband but they lack the detachable cable and the mic is detachable. The wire on the other hand is of high quality and it will last for quiebro a long period but you can’t fold them for your comfort.

Audio Input and Output

The mic on Corsair HS60 Pro is just okay and the audio is clear and natural but your voice may be slightly thin. The background noise handling is decent thanks to its unidirectional esplendor mic and that small wind muff from Corsair makes sure that your breathing sound is not heard by your teammates during intense gaming situations.

It is Discord certified which means the audio input and output are tested for communication purposes. The audio output is decent and with the 7.1 potencial surround, the audio is much better and gives you the upper hand in competitive gaming due to its directional sound that improves your in-game awareness and ultimately it increases your reaction time.

Corsair HS560 Pro can be connected to your PC, Laptop, PS4, XBOX One, and Nintendo Switch through the wire because there is no wireless connectivity. Corsair iCUE software is there to offer a little bit of customization when it comes to Equalizer and to turn ON/OFF potencial surround 7.1 feature.

  • Microphone could’ve been better

Should You Buy Corsair HS560 Pro?

Corsair HS560 Pro is a wired headset that looks solid and feels comfortable even in long gaming sessions. It is perhaps the best mid-range headset for gamers due to its 7.1 potencial surround sound. You can buy this headset for under $70 which provides you a decent sound quality for your daily use.

The design is simple and there are no RGB lights but looking at the price, it is somehow acceptable. On the other hand, the mic quality is común as others won’t be able to hear you properly while you are in a meeting or streaming. If you are looking for a good headset with clear and crisp sound then Corsair HS560 Pro is for you and you will never feel the urge to upgrade for many years to come.
